The Jewish & Single division of Midrash BEN ISH HAI has quickly become a beacon for young Jewish singles to veer to. While mainly populated by Sephardi singles of many varied backgrounds, including Syrian, Egyptian, Iraqi, Lebanese, Persian, Moroccan, Turkish and others, many Ashkenazim are now attending its events as its reputation spreads rapidly. Its many activities include weekend retreats, dinners, lectures, DATEin8™ as well as many other activities geared towards bringing Jewish Singles together.
The hard working members of the singles committee always say that every wedding they attend, of a couple who met at one of the Midrash events, makes them feel that the long hours are well worth it.
