Getaway Weekend

at the Swan Lake Resort, Catskill Mountains, NY
The following instructions
are provided as an approximate guide to assist participants in the
Jewish Singles Weekend Getaway to get to the retreat. We suggest taking
a detailed map with you too.
Directions from Manhattan:
Take the Upper level of the
George Washington Bridge. Bear right to the Pallisades Parkway.
Exit the Parkway at exit 9
(Albany/Buffalo) to the New York State Thruway.
Exit the NYS Thruway at exit
16 onto Route 17 West.
Exit Route 17 W at exit
101.
Follow signs to the hotel.
It's pretty easy, but if you
get lost on the way, the telephone number for the hotel is: (845)

FROM PHILADELPHIA
NJ Turnpike to Garden State Parkway (North) to NYS Thruway. Go North on
Thruway (Rt. 87) to Exit 16 and proceed on Rt. 17 as above. (Approx. 3
Hrs.)
FROM CONNECTICUT
Rt. 84 West across the Newburgh Beacon Bridge to Exit 4W. Then proceed
on Rt. 17 West to Exit 101. (Approx. time from New Haven - 2 ¨ö
hours).
FROM BOSTON
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike West. Then take Rt. 84 (At Stourbridge)
South/West thru Hartford & Waterbury over the Newburgh Beacon Bridge
to Exit 4 (Which is Rt. 17). Then proceed on Rt. 17 West to Exit 101.
(Approx. 4 ¨ö hours from Boston).
FROM WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA
East on Penn Turnpike or Rt. 80 to Rt. 81. Then North on Rt. 81 towards
Scranton where you pick up Rt. 84 going East. Stay on Rt. 84 thru Port
Jervis to Exit 4W (Which is Rt. 17). Go West on Rt. 17 to Exit 101.
FROM MONTREAL & UPSTATE NY
Take Rt. 87 (Northway) to the NYS Thruway (At Albany). Go South on NYS
Thruway (Rt. 87) to Exit 19 ( Kingston). Then take Rt. 209 thru the
Towns of Ellenville and Wurtsboro, 1 mile past the traffic light in
Wurtsboro is Rt. 17. Go West to Exit 101. (Approx. time from Montreal is
6 hours - From Albany is 2 hours).
FROM UPSTATE NY (WESTERN AREA)
NYS Thruway to Syracuse (Exit 36). Then Rt. 81 South towards Binghamton.
At Binghamton pick up Rt. 17 East. Stay on Rt. 17 till Exit 101.
(Approx. time from Syracuse is 3 hours).
